On Volcano is a four-piece indie pop group from Tampere, Finland. The band blends powerful guitars with driving rhythms and delicate vocals to form soundscapes of beautiful melodies, embracing modern indie-pop with shoegaze and post-rock. On Volcano has been comparedto bands such as Explosions in the Sky, Arcade Fire and Beach House.
Finnish music industry professionals, A&R, local promoters and music journalists selected On Volcano as one of the twelve most promising bands in Finland for 2011.
