Priit "Julm" Juurmann, a.k.a. P. Julm, a.k.a. Julm is an Estonian hip-hop, acid-jazz and house pioneer of worldwide repute, an outstanding producer and DJ. Starting out in early 1990s, he soon became the most revered hip-hop DJ around. A warrior on the decks, an owner of a record label, member in nu-jazz bands (Broken Time Orchestra, Drum Power) and a trailblazer in the local underground scene, Julm received a number of residencies at major clubs. In 1999, P. Julm teamed up with his fellow resident DJ Meri at the legendary series of parties called Vibe. The duo known as Rulers of the Deephas been working with and for all the giants in the world of house music. Julm is also often recruited to accompany live vocalists and instrumentalists. DJ’ing has led him everywhere from the Baltics to Scandinavia, Russia, UK, USA, Canada, Switzerland, Arabia, etc. Depending on the night, his house and broken-beat sounds can be described as either soulful and funky or deep and techy.
