Muusikute kava koosneb enda kirjutatud paladest, mida võib iseloomustada, kui segu erinevatest stiilidest: post-rock, ambient, elektroonika ja põhjamaine džäss. UMA on esinenud mitmetel festivalidel: Tallinna Kultuuripäevad St. Peterburis, Tallinn Music Week, Matsalu Loodusfilmide Festival, Viljandi Kitarrifestival, ECM festival „Täiuslik vaikus“, Londoni Jazz Festival, Jazzkaar, Ateena Jazz Festival. 2008. aasta lõpus ilmus UMA esimene plaat Civitas Soli (Elwood), mida viimistles produtsent Markus Reuter ja ambient muusika guru Robert Rich. Albumi lugu „Eight Months“ ilmus London Jazz Festivali poolt väljaantaval CD-kogumikul European Jazz Compilation 2010. Teine album Hymn To Undiscovered Land ilmus 2010. aasta kevadel. Plaadi produtseeris Andi Pupato, löökpillimängija Šveitsi zen-funk kultusansamblist Nik Bärtsch`s Ronin. Külalisena esineb plaadil ansambli No-Man laulja Tim Bowness. „Avara vaimuruumiga atmosfääri loomises ja helidega maalimises pole UMA-le Eestis võrdset.“ Joosep Sang, Postimees
