The history of Tanel Padar & The Sun began six years ago. Since then the band has enjoyed a massive following in their homeland and increasing interest in other Baltic States and Scandinavia. As a forceful team, they've given a whole new look to the way of making music and defining it. The Sun is a rockband that has engraved into the Estonian music scene and left its smacking (and also destroying) marks on it. In a way, they have changed the course of it by releasing seven albums, giving over 500 concerts and winning 13 music awards. Furthermore, The Sun has begun to break out - they've already given great live performances in Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Russia. In their song list, you can find samples of different styles - for example pop/hard/soft-rock, cute (but powerful!) ballads, even a vigorous touch of metal and of course good old rock'n'roll to please the addict of music. In the end of November 2008 The Sun released their latest album "UNISEX" what was one of the most sold albums in last year.

Tanel Padar & The Suni ajalugu sai alguse kuus aastat tagasi ning sellest ajast saati on nad olnud jõuline tiim, mis jätnud oma tugeva jälje Eesti muusikamaastikule ning muutnud selle kulgu. Bänd on andnud välja seitse helikandjat, esinenud pooletuhandel kontserdil ja võitnud 13 muusikaauhinda. Lisaks on bänd asunud kanda kinnitama ka välismaal - edukad kontserdid on toimunud Soomes, Lätis, Leedus, Poolas ja Venemaal. Tanel Padar & The Suni lugude nimistus leidub erinevaid palasid, mis peidavad endas nii pehmet kui karmi - jõulisi metaliriffe, pop/soft/hard-rocki sugemeid, vana head rock'n'rolli ja teisigi muusikasõbras meeldivat äratundmist tekitavaid stiilinäiteid. 2008. aasta novembrikuus ilmus The Suni siiani viimane stuudioalbum "UNISEX", millel oli üle ootuste hea minek.
