Tallinn Music Week is a brand new showcase festival, aiming to stage the best and most outstanding Estonian talent on two nights in Tallinn’s most vibrant live venues, as well as a networking event for the music industry professionals. Tallinn Music Week comprises of:
1) Seminar panels and discussion groups with panelists consisting of top professionals from Estonia and abroad and topics ranging from music business to cultural politics.
2) Showcase-programs that stage the best Estonian bands and artists from different scenes and genres. Showcases will be held on two nights in the key venues and clubs in Tallinn and each of them is promoted and presented by a key-festival or event in Estonia:
The Seminar will be attended by registered music professionals from Estonia and abroad, the evening showcases are advertised and on sale also for the general public. We are expecting to host around 50 foreign delegates, who will include talent buyers from the main European showcase festivals, record company and publishing company professionals, managers, agents, promoters and international press.

Making Tallinn Music Week into an important annual cultural event
Making an event that joins together music and culture field professionals, both from the private and public sectors, proving that we all have the same goals when it comes to creative industries and culture
Setting up a top-quality festival that presents Estonian talent with the prestige and professionalism that it deserves, highlighting the strongest local talent with export potential
Offering Estonian music professionals a chance to broaden their contact base abroad and encouraging them to pursue their artists’ careers internationally
Getting a clever selection of Estonian bands to play at key show-case festivals in Europe
Focusing more on advertising abroad during the next years to make Tallinn Music Week into a valid reason and destination for cultural tourism in early spring
Creating a cooperation platform for various Estonian brands and companies, whose interests involve introducing Estonian culture and exporting it abroad and communicating the message of young and progressive Estonia to the world
